Kids in the Hall

As I write this, I realize I have no less than 12 shows booked before the end of the year. Um… what? Where did 2013 go? I’m super stoked to have so many opportunities to play for you all in such a short amount of time!

Tomorrow is your next opportunity to come hang out with me, this time at the City of North Vancouver’s Kids in the Hall event! I’ll be performing in the City Hall atrium from 1:00-2:30PM, after which my friend Ashley Pater will take the spotlight from 2:30PM until the event’s end at 4:00PM.

From the City’s website:

We’re opening the doors to City Hall on a Saturday and you're invited to hang out with us.

Kids in the Hall is an afternoon of fun activities, playing, learning and exploring. Kiddos and families take over City Hall and have a blast designing parks, building ships, hearing stories, riding in the a bike rodeo, or checking out a police cruiser and fire truck. Get fun passports for kids to collect stamps along the way for prizes. It's a fun way to get to know us better and discover How our City works.

Here are some of the fun activities planned:

- Live music and performances

- Community displays

- Interactive art, games and learning

- Design your own park

- RCMP cruiser, Fire truck and City vehicle

- First Nations storytelling with Squamish Nation

- Story time with Conni Smudge from North Shore Pride Alliance

- Outdoor bike rodeo

- Snacks and prizes

Don’t miss out on this awesome chance to hang out with some of the people who make North Van run like clockwork! Here’s a fun video, and the address underneath:
